Why now?
Two things happened at once. Models became good enough to read policy. And banking IT budgets stopped being able to absorb the cost of how policy was being implemented. We built the bridge.
What does "plain language" actually mean?
It means the rule looks like a rule. A KYC analyst writes a sentence and the system applies it. No translation, no waiting list, no version-X-of-the-spec.
What was the hardest part?
Convincing ourselves it would actually work in production. The wow-moment was when a customer rewrote a policy in a meeting and the system applied it before we walked out of the room.
